People who live in Northeastern Oklahoma face the threat of floods each year. My great aunt, Rosie, lived on "Bird Creek" near Sperry, Oklahoma. They were awakened early one morning to find water invading their home. They escaped unscathed. The house nor its contents were ever found . Their only earthly possessions after the flood were the clothes they wore, but with grateful hearts, they knew God had saved their lives.
While God spared Noah and his family from devastation, some believer's lives are shortened. Whenever our earthly lives are ended, we know we who are committed to God will be preserved for eternity.
Dear father, thank You for Your protective care
