Occasionally on a Sunday morning it is difficult for her physically to get up and get moving because of arthritis. Also, the chronic pain of fibromyalgia combined with the usual stresses of life drain the energy from her body. However, it is during these times, when she gets up and goes to church regardless of how she feels, she experiences times of strength from God. He is renewing her body and refreshing her spirit.
God knows exactly what we need. He is faithfully equipping His servants with the words we need to hear and put into practice in our lives. It is amazing that we hear exactly what we need through the pastor’s preaching and his prayers. We need to be there, together with other believers, to hear God’s precepts of truth. Otherwise, we may suffer spiritual drought and unnecessary worry. How blessed we are when we receive God’s message through His messenger.
Lord, Thank You for strengthening my weaknesses through the words of Your servant.
