A mother of two small children received a call that her mother had fallen ill. They went to see her even though they could hardly afford to make the trip. Before they left to return home, they prayed God would protect them. After three hours of traveling, a tire blew out. A panic arose as the mother remembered they were down to their last five dollars. She pulled the kids out of the car; and before she knew it, a tow truck was backing up to hook the car to it.
Once they arrived at the garage, men came out and started to work on the car. A new tire was being rolled out. The mother frantically tried to explain to the owner to stop because she did not have the money to pay, but he just kept about his business. About 30 minutes later, he came back and told her, “You’re set to go, no charge.” Imagine her joy as she realized God’s hand had been upon them.
I thank You, Lord, for protecting me daily.
