Sylvia Sheets is well into her 90’s. Her days consist of calling to check in with home bound adults, writing cards and letters to church members in need of encouragement, and praying for her church staff and church. Sylvia does not believe God intends for us to retire from ministering. Using her unique gifts and talents, is a vital part of our church.
Not all Christians can sing in the choir or teach a class, but each of us is given a gift that fits perfectly with the gifts of others to complete the picture that is the ministry of our church. That perfect picture was designed by God.
Lord, encourage me to be an active part of Your design to effectively meet the needs of others.
