My grandfather lived on a gravel road out in the country. One day a car drove down that road very slowly as though the driver was looking for something.
The car finally pulled into grandpa’s yard and the man asked, “How do you get to town from here?”
My grandfather took a long drink of iced tea and said, “Most of the time my son-in-law takes me.
Directions can be good, bad, or confusing. They can be everything from “you can’t miss it” to “you can’t get there from heres.” Timothy had the right kind of directions. They were taught and reinforced throughout his childhood. These directions, the Holy Scriptures showed him the way to Jesus.
Lord, help me point young lives to the road map of salvation.
