Leading to Worship

Worthy of Worship
Psalm 29:1-2

Read the Bible through:
AM –
Zechariah 4-5 : PM – Revelation 17

Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness
( Psalm 29:2).

None of us is without flaws. But most of us are able to keep some of them secret.

In recent years it seems those in the public eye, though are subjected to greater scrutiny by the media. Even the most private and personal matters of their lives are exposed to public view. Newspapers and TV news programs seem to delight in offering up stories that bring shame on high profile folk or at least takes away their public image as a role model for young people.

The Scriptures are careful to point out the flaws of even the best people from Abraham to Moses to Paul. As important as each of these Bible heroes may have been to our faith, the Bible does not soft-pedal its appraisal of them.

From beginning to end the Bible reminds us that only One is worthy of our worship and adulation, and that person is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Lord, remind me You are the only One worthy of my worship; and You never disappoint
