Florrie Anne Lawton worked at LifeWay Christian Resources (then The Sunday School Board) in Nashville for many years consulting with leaders and writing curriculum, books, songs, and articles that taught teachers how to be better teachers of babies, creepers, and toddlers. Most summers she taught at LifeWay Glorieta and Ridgecrest Conference Centers. All this time, she taught babies and, in later years, some of those babies’ babies in her own church. Her love for people, especially babies, has been evident.
What a joy it is to Florrie Ann or any teacher who has taught children for many years when parents or grandparents came to tell what fine young men and women those babies turned out to be, faithfully following God’s commandments and walking in the truth. A teacher could have no greater reward.
