As I write this the sports world is focused on Beijing, China. For two weeks all eyes will watch as the world has gathered to compete in the 29th Olympiad. The city has welcomed thousands of tourists who will spend millions of dollars. Why did people travel to China, and why will all this money be spent? They did it to be a part of historic events and in hopes of seeing a victory.
Because the children of Israel were totally obedient, they “took the city” and experienced a God given victory.
Father, help me to obey You totally so that I might experience Your victories
